Browser Extension 'Open and Fill' defaults to Firefox

When I use the Open and Fill extension in my browser (Chrome), it opens Firefox and then doesn't fill in the information.

I would like to set default browser to Chrome. Can this be done?

    Hi @makason,

When you select the "open and fill" option for a Login item in the 1Password extension, it will open that site in the default browser on your Mac (which in this case sounds like Firefox). That's an OS X setting, so if you'd like to change the default web browser to Chrome for your Mac in general, you can follow these steps:

    • Open the System Preferences app on your Mac
    • Select General
    • Change the Default web browser setting to your preferred browser

If you don't want to change the default browser for your whole Mac, and just want to open a Login item from 1Password in Chrome, go to the 1Password extension in Chrome and select the name of a Login item from a list of Login items. In other words, don't click on the URL in the item details - instead of viewing the item details, just select the Login item from the list. That should open the site in your current browser (i.e. Chrome) and fill your login credentials.

Does that help? If you have more questions about that or anything else, just let us know. :)
