Autofill to Microsoft sites no longer autofills user name
This has worked reliably for years that I recall. Now with Safari on Yosemite or Firefox 39 with browser extension 4.4.0 or 4.4.1 the username is no longer filled.
Main site below and logging in to Xbox live goes here as well.
Password is still filled but not user ID.

Yes that did work so I can purge and re-create

Glad to hear that worked!
If a login stops working for some reason (often due to changes to the website's form), re-creating your login item and getting rid of the old one will often fix it. :)
