Automatically Fill in Custom Field?

I've searched the boards for this answer and don't see it but apologies if this has been covered.

One site I use requires username/PW and to select the type of user in a dropdown. I've added this custom field and answer to the site's profile in 1P, but when I use the Chrome extension to log in I still have to manually select the dropdown. Is there anyway for 1P to do this for me?

    Hi @tride,

Unfortunately the extension cannot fill in custom fields, you will want to view these more as ways of recording information for you rather than for filling. Now that isn't to say we don't have a way of coping with non-standard username + password pages.

What I think you will find useful is this guide, How to manually save a Login. You fill in the page as you need it to be to log in (drop boxes etc.) and then save the Login item from the extension. This allows the extension to pass all the relevant details to 1Password mini and we then save everything in the web form details section of the Login item.

Now it might be we still struggle with the page. If that is the case and you don't mind posting the URL here we'll certainly take a look and try and figure out why it isn't working.

Let us know how you get along
