Hi @stlouis33,
You seem to have jumped onto an existing thread but I'm not sure if they're related until we learn a bit more about your situation. Can you explain what's happened and also what version of 1Password for Mac you're running as our advice will depend on which version you're running. Once we know a bit more we will do our best to assist.

How do I remove old one so can put a new in?

@stlouis33 - If you don't have your master password, you should follow the instructions to start over with an empty vault.
Now that we know your issue, I moved your posts into a new thread to deal with it better. Do let us know how it goes.

Hi @stlouis33,
The details are still a little sparse so there is one point I would like to ensure you realise. The link hawkmoth has supplied is about throwing away your existing vault because you can no longer access it. It isn't possible to reset the password and regain access as that would be a security risk.
If you're wanting to do this, to completely start over with a brand new and empty vault then that's fine. I just wanted to make sure you realised in case you were hoping we could reset a Master Password (which we can't).
If we can be of any further help please do let us know.

I'll start over?

@stlouis33 - Did you mean for that to be a question? If you don't have your master password and have no way to find it, and if you know that starting over will erase any data you have stored, then, yes, you should start over. But it's a drastic step, so be sure this is what you mean.

@stlouis33 if English isn't your main language then feel free to use one you are comfortable with. There's people from all over the world on these forums who might be able to help.
