How do I find the login spot on the 1 password site. I go to the site and it is only for those wanting to create an account. What is the url that gets me to a place on the site where I can login?

this is a pretty simple question? What is the URL for 1 password that allows me to login so I can change my master password in preferences?

    Hi,

Changing your Master Password is done within 1Password for Mac, Preferences > Security to be exact. Here's the appropriate section of the User Guide if you'd like to review it Security Preferences.

If you're not able to access 1Password using your existing Master Password then you may find this article of use.

@peterharris22 - Do I understand that you wish to change your password for this forum? If that's what you want, click on your username in the upper part of the forum page. That will bring up your own information. The right is a dropdown menu. Click the option to edit profile. That next page has a link to change your password.

If I've misunderstood, ignore this post. ;)

    Hi @peterharris22,

I'm glad we managed to assist in the end. I'm still wondering if there is some confusion over how 1Password works. I only mention it as if we can help you understand how 1Password works we do want to.

Unlike other approaches, 1Password is a standalone application (or app if you're on a mobile device) and your vault is only stored on that machine unless you specifically set up synchronisation with either another device or a cloud service like Dropbox. This means that unless you ensure you have backups, the loss of the storage device, hard drive or SSD on your Mac would mean the loss of your vault. Here's the main index for our 1Password for Mac Guide, it might be handy or it might not.

If I've misunderstood at all I do apologise.
