Database Disk Image is Malformed. How do I fix this?

Currently I am unable to sync with either dropbox or iCloud. I receive an error message that it never synced. This message comes up immediately even if it is an initial sync creating a new folder. It creates the folder and the key file, but comes back with this error.

Extension Version: Not Provided
OS Version: OSX 10.10.4
Sync Type: dropbox

    See if this recent AgileBits post (in response to a poster who had the same error) is any help.

    @nick_paff: Dropbox and iCloud will give very different errors, so if you can include a screenshot of what you're seeing it may help us narrow down the problem. Often — especially with Dropbox — you'll receive an error like you describe when it simply hasn't completed syncing yet. Please let me know what you find. We will get this sorted out for you! :)

    Thanks Stephen for the link. I ended up having to start over with an empty vault and that fixed it.
