How to get to Logins quicker with the 1Password 4's Login menu in the browsers
The login dropdown in Pwd 4 is very very slow to scroll through Version 3 was much better. How can I use the Version 3 dropdown with version 4?

Hi @rjack809,
Thanks for taking the time to contact us. I'm sorry that you are having some trouble.
Could you help me understand what you mean? I'd love to help with some more details.
When you say "login dropdown", I suspect you are referring to the 1Password extension in the browser. Can you confirm that? It's what appears when you click the 1Password button in your browser's toolbar. (I know this may seem pedantic, but I just want to make sure we start off in the right direction. I appreciate your reply.)
If you're referring to the browser extension, is it also slow to appear? Slow to display results when you type to search for items in it? Slow in any other way? Or just slow to scroll? Do you experience slow scrolling in other areas on the same computer? (The reason I ask that last question is that my first instinct is to consider a graphics driver issue, but that may not be it at all.)
Would it possible for you to make a video of the slowness and email it to us? support+forum@agilebits.com I like Jing because it is easy to use, and it also handles the hosting of the video, but any screen recorder should do the trick.

Yes I mean the browser extension. When I click Logins, get the long unassigned list and click on the arrow at the bottom of the list, it is very slow scrolling down the list to to get to a login further down.
I do not experience slow scrolling with any other areas on the same computer.
Sometime ago I contacted support with this issue and was provided a link to the version 3 browser extension that worked with version 4. Today I reset my Firefox profile and lost this function. I would like to reestablish this function.

How many logins do you have?
There two ways to handle this:
- put your logins into folders so they're not all in one long list.
- use the search function. Open the 1Password menu and just start typing.

@rjack809: You definitely won't want to use the old extension, as the new one is a lot easier to use...and doesn't have some of the deficiencies and drawbacks of the old extension.
Apart from organization, you can simply click the 1Password button in your browser (or press
Ctrl \
) and then type a few characters to search. That should narrow things down nicely. If you're still having trouble, the more information you can give, the better! For instance, please tell me the exact steps you're taking, so we can figure out the best plan of action. Thanks in advance! :)

Thanks for the suggestions. I have applied tags and this helps.
How do you create folders?

Left/bottom panel you'll see add and remove buttons. Use add to create folders and then just drag and drop from the category lists to put items into the folders.
