Hi,

Been running on the free service for a while and upgraded today to the single license.

I am trying to setup a new vault as described here (https://support.1password.com/guides/mac/create-a-new-vault.html).

However there is not the option in the menu for 'New Vault'.

What am I doing wrong?

Thanks,

D

    Hi @darrell_freeman,

Thanks for your purchase, we truly appreciate it! :)

It looks like you're currently using version 3.8.22 on your Mac, which is a much older version of 1Password that doesn't support multiple vaults. Assuming you're running Mac OS X 10.10 (Yosemite) on your Mac, you'll need to install 1Password 5, which you can get from our download site. (If you're using OS X 10.8 or 10.9, you'll need to use 1Password 4 for Mac, which you can get from the bottom of that same download site.) When you upgraded your license, you should have received a license email with a link you can click to apply your new license file to 1Password 4 or 5 (I resent your license info to make sure you have a copy).

1Password 4/5 for Mac is a separate app from 1Password 3, but when you open the new version for the first time, it should find your existing 1Password data. So it should be very easy to get up and running! :) Once you have it set up and your data is in the new version, you can create a new vault by following the steps here: Create a new vault

Hopefully that helps, but if you have more questions or run into any problems, just let us know!
