iCloud not available - purchased from App Store
Hi,
I cannot see iCloud as an option to syn. I did have some keychain problems and started over with a new keychain on my Mac. 10.10.3.
What shall I do to fix this? I can see the 1Pwd Mini in iCloud, but no way to select it in the main program.
1Password Version: 5.3.2
Extension Version: Not Provided
OS Version: 10.10.3
Sync Type: iCloud

Hi @helimancdn,
It sounds like you're using the AgileBits Store version of 1Password 5 for Mac. iCloud sync is only available in the Mac App Store version because it uses Apple's new CloudKit technology, which can only be used by apps sold through Apple. We'd absolutely love to be able to include that in the AgileBits Store version of 1Password as well, but unfortunately that's not currently possible. You can find more information about that here: I do not see the option to sync with iCloud in 1Password for Mac
If you're currently using 1Password as a free trial and haven't made a purchase yet, you'll just need to make sure you buy it from the Mac App Store if you want the iCloud sync feature. If you bought a license from the AgileBits Store within the last 30 days, we can refund that so you can buy it from the Mac App Store instead.
If you switch to the Mac App Store version of 1Password, it should be a very easy switch. If you need help with that, you can find more information here: Switching to the version of 1Password from the Mac App Store
On the other hand, if you want to continue using the AgileBits Store version, you can use Dropbox sync, which is also is an excellent choice (and it's how many of us here at AgileBits sync our 1Password data). Your 1Password data is end-to-end encrypted, so with regard to security there is not a difference between syncing 1Password data with Dropbox or iCloud. 1Password simply doesn't depend on the security of either to protect your data.
Dropbox also has the advantage that it can be used to share vaults with friends, family, and co-workers. It's not possible to share anything between iCloud accounts.
I hope this helps to clear up the confusion. If you have more questions about that, please let us know. We're here for you! :)
