Suggestions for enhancements [to determine Nth character positions in passwords]

I'm using 1Password5 and have the following suggestions for improvement
1. Many sites ask for characters in numerical positions, so can we add a feature whereby you give the numerical positions in the password and 1password returns the characters.
2. If 1 is not possible please allow password to be shown in non-proportional font (Courier New for example) so it is easier to determine character position.

Be good to hear your thoughts on these. Thanks

Alan

    Hi Alan ( @alans ),

Thank you for these related suggestions!

About the first, here's part of a recent reply from @DrewAG:

… sites that ask for random characters from a password - 1Password doesn't currently support filling those. Our developers are looking into possible ways to handle that, but my understanding is that it's incredibly difficult (if possible at all) to do that. There are some suggestions in this discussion that might be helpful for you.

About the second, since password and notes fields (and others) use the same font it is possible to determine the character position in passwords more easily by doing something like @MrC suggested.

I've included both of your suggestions with similar requests we have in our tracker. I hope you can get ideas from that other discussion for a workaround to handle cases like this. Cheers!
