Keep getting the Watchtower "change your password" banners, but that feature's deactivated.

Is it a known issue where if someone has Watchtower deactivated, 1Password still shows the "this site may have been compromised, please change your password" banner occasionally?

If I enable and then immediately disable Watchtower it goes away, but it's reappeared a couple times over the last few months when I look at the passwords in the browser extension (and thus the app if I had it opened).

    This is a known problem which is fixed in 1P5.4 beta (currently being tested): see this AgileBits post.

    Hi @ShawnCollier,

    Thanks for reporting this, and I'm glad you found a workaround. A couple Watchtower issues were fixed in 5.4.BETA-9. From the 1Password for Mac Release Notes:

    • Fixed issue where vulnerable items were displayed in detail view even though Watchtower was disabled. {OPM-2996}
    • Fixed issue where the Watchtower vulnerabilities database was updating even though Watchtower was disabled. {OPM-3032}

    5.4 is currently in beta testing, as @Stephen_C mentioned.

    Have a great week! :)
