Attached files are still lost...

It's a good thing to be able to attach files to an item.
But when I have a new device, items are restored without attached files... All lost :(
This is really dangerous.

1Password Version: 5.3 (AppStore)
Extension Version: Not Provided
OS Version: 10.10.4

    I don't understand what you mean when you say:

    Please explain exactly how you are trying to transfer your 1P data to your new device. I'm assuming the "new device" is a Mac computer: is that correct? If it isn't please tell us what it is and what version of 1P you are running on it.

    I'm sorry to hear that you've been having trouble with 1Password! Stephen is right, we'll need to know a little bit more about your 1Password ecosystem in order to figure this out:

    • What is the version number of 1Password that you have installed? (Please include all relevant computers and devices)
    • What is the version number of your operating system (for all computers and devices)?
    • How exactly are you 'restoring' your data? Are you syncing from iCloud or restoring from a backup?

    The more detail you can provide, the more quickly we'll be able to get you sorted out! :)

    Yes I mean a new computer or a new fresh clean install for example...
    Every time I had the same problems : all attachments was lost.
    1P find my iCloud datas, then it unlock and grab the datas. But attached files aren't there.

    However, the only item I have added a file last month is finally back : I had to close completely 1P and mini and reload, then more than 300 items was added, and my item with attached files was finally showing the files.

    So it's better, but with previous versions, this was just deleting them : I had 17 items like email accounts with certificates and licenses with proof of pay (scanned)... all was gone...

    I hope it's now safe to add this kind of things, because for me was the safest place until I lost them. I don't know why and how, as it was in 2 computers, and when adding a new one, it removed the files from all the computers.

    My setup is still this :
    1Password Version: 5.3 (AppStore)
    OS Version: 10.10.4
    Sync Type: iCloud
    Mac Mini + Mac Pro + MBPR 15, some others at work (2) and iOS devices (iPads, iPhone and iPod).

    Hi @iSeb,

    Just to clarify: you set up a new computer with 1Password and select your existing data in iCloud. When you view your database in 1Password on the new computer, the attachments are not there?

    I think the best way to figure out where things are getting tangled up is to take a closer look at your system.

    I'd like to ask you to create some Diagnostics Reports, one from each of your devices.
