Smart folder equations

How do a create a smart folder that shows me all the login's that have anything in the notes field? I think years of development have broken the way I think and I've tried "Notes is %" or "Notes is not """.

May I have the secret handshake for null/nil/nada/zip/zero length string et cetera for finding the login's that I can break down the "secret question" data I have in the field into discreet password style fields.

advTHANKSance,
Jonathan

    @Dr. Wingnut,

    That does not seem currently possible. You might expect to be able to use Notes is not and leave the value field empty, but that doesn't work. It would be nice if there were "is empty" and "is not empty" predicates

    +1 for new predicates

    Thanks for letting us know about that. As it turns out, we have an open ticket for this - it was created by one of our team members who was trying to do the exact same thing as you! :lol:

    For now, depending on how you have your "secret question" info in the notes fields, you might be able to use a workaround to make it a bit easier to find them. For example, if you include the full question(s) in the notes, you could make a Smart Folder with the criteria of "Notes contain ?". Or if they all include the text "Security Question" you could make a Smart Folder for that.

    I'll certainly add your comments to the ticket for this. I can't make any promises about if/when that will be addressed, but I would also find that really helpful, so I'm hoping it will be possible too!
