How to move vault to new computer with just a time machine backup

I've just formatted my MBP and have a clean install of Yosemite having a full time machine backup. I have installed 1Password and a separate backup of the library and other files.

How can I find the 1Password files on the backup and move them to the new install? I had thought the vault would be saved in the documents folder :-(

If you look at this knowledge base article:

Where does 1Password store its data?

you'll see a section about where 1P stores its backups. You'll want to look at the part relating to the AgileBits store version of 1P5 as that's the one you're running. The article should enable you to find the backups within your Time Machine backup.

Note that by default the user Library is not visible. One way of making it visible is to use the Go menu in the Finder, and hold the Option key while going to that menu.

Thanks, This worked. I did look at that article but thought it dod not apply to me as I had not backed up from within 1 password. I just copied and replaced the 1Password 4 folder and got everything back :-)

@manpreet: Excellent! Thanks for the update. Indeed, if you already had all the necessary files it's as simple as copying it all over in place. It sounds like you should be all set, but be sure to reach out if you need anything else! :)
