What version for upgraders to Windows 10? [Same 1Password program on Windows 10]

On a quick look on the website and here, I don't see any reference to what people upgrading to Windows 10 from 7 (or 8.x) do for 1P. Do we use the same software? Or do we need to get a new version from the new app store? Or what? Thanks!

    Hi @leesweet,

Yes, you just use the same 1Password program, there are no differences between Windows 7, 8 and 10 for 1Password. It will work the same way, it'd also work in Internet Explorer 11 on Windows 10 and other browsers.

The only exception is Microsoft Edge, there are no extension support for it. 1Password won't be able to integrate with it until Microsoft updates Edge to support extensions later this year.

Fantastic! It might be a good idea to put that on the website somewhere noticable, since compatibility with new OS's is always a concern, as you well know! :)

    Thanks for the quick answer!

    Hi @leesweet,

We'll update the site as needed to clarify this. Thanks!
