If you're considering upgrading to Windows 10 and wonder if 1Password is ready to make the jump with you...it is! In fact, we have a blog post that goes into more detail as well, in case you missed it:

1Password and Windows 10: On the Edge of greatness

The short version is that 1Password for Windows works on Windows 10 just as it does on 8.1, 8, and 7. The only caveat is that Microsoft's new Edge browser does not have extension support at this time, but otherwise you can use 1Password on Windows 10 just as you have on previous versions.

The blog missed a an interesting point from the FAQ for the paranoid among us:

No. When you share access to a password-protected Wi-Fi network by using Wi-Fi Sense, your contacts don't see the network password. For networks you choose to share access to, the password is sent over an encrypted connection and stored in an encrypted file on a Microsoft server, and then sent over a secure connection to your contacts' phone if they use Wi-Fi Sense and they're in range of the Wi-Fi network you shared.

So basically, MS is building a huge list of wifi networks and passwords. I'm sure the NSA won't misuse that at all.

@RichardPayne: Thanks! Indeed, the blog post wasn't meant to be comprehensive, just get the word out there and direct those interested to Microsoft for more detail. But yes, presumably if Microsoft is storing passwords in a reversible form, they may be subject to disclosure to law enforcement.
