If I purchase the mac $50 1password, do I also need to purchase the $10 monthly for my iphone?
If I purchase the mac $50 1password, do I also need to purchase the $10 monthly for my iphone? Or is it one bundle. And I am trying to understand the benefits of the paid version. My free trial ended and it is still working, does this mean all my info is not secure right now?!?! EEK! I am just trying to figure out what i need to purchase, thank you.

We've not done a good enough job clarifying it seems as there are a couple of misunderstandings there but in a way good ones, where the reality is better than your expectations (I hope!).
Now our software is per platform, that bit is correct but 1Password for iOS uses the freemium model. If you don't see an advantage in the features behind the in-app purchase then you don't need to do so - it will continue to run as it is. The in-app purchase for the Pro features is also a one-off purchase - we do not have a monthly subscription model on any of our platforms. The purchase would entitle you to those features in the current major version (we're currently on version 5) and any minor updates to that version. We reserve the right to charge for a new major version but we haven't always done so. For example, anybody that purchased version 4 go a free update to version 5.
Now to 1Password for Mac. The trial version runs for 30 days but at the end obviously there are some restrictions. What we don't and never will do is lock you out of the vault you created - that's tantamount to blackmail effectively and very uncool. We also don't alter the security as again - very uncool. What we do is if you have more than 20 items we stop you creating more. If you have under 20 items you can continue to trial 1Password for Mac.
