'Can I change a 1Password generated password to a password I have made up myself?'

I need to use a password that I have made for myself. I need to change the 1Password generated password and use this "personal" password. How do I do that and have 1Password recognise it?

You can ignore the part that refers to generating a new password and simply use your own password at that stage.

Please let me know if you have any questions after reading the article that Stephen linked to. There is certainly no requirement to use the passwords that 1Password generates. :)
