I currently have 1Password 5 on my Mac, iPhone and iPad and use Dropbox to sync.

Just tried to set up 1Password 4 for Windows but running into problems trying to use the existing vault on Dropbox. Basically after firing up 1Password and selecting "I have used 1Password before" I can't find any folder in my Dropbox folder to select.

In Windows Explorer, I can see a file called ".ws.agile.1Password".

I made sure Dropbox had synced before trying to launch 1Password.

Not sure what else to try?

1Password Version: 4

OS Version: Windows 7

  • Hi @pjhilder,

Did you check in Dropbox > Apps > 1Password directory?

Are you using selective sync for Dropbox on Windows? Some folks chose to only sync certain folders and that meant 1Password folders wouldn't show up until they select it first. Please do check your Dropbox client settings to make sure Dropbox > Apps > 1Password folder is checked for selective sync.

If not, can you check Dropbox.com in your browser to see if 1Password.agilekeychain folder exists on it.

Ah, thanks that was it. Yeah, I had to change my selective sync settings. I don't remember enabling it, perhaps it was enabled when I turned off camera uploads.

  • Hi @pjhilder,

You're welcome, I'm glad you got it working now.
