Syncing between 2 Macs using 2 different dropbox accounts [Resolved]
I have been using 1password 5, syncing with my dropbox account. My husband just installed 1password on his Mac. He has his own dropbox account. How can we sync the vault I have on my dropbox account with his copy of 1password on his Mac, signed into his dropbox account?
1Password Version: 5.3.2
Extension Version: Not Provided
OS Version: os x 10.10.4
Sync Type: dropbox

You would need to use a Dropbox shared folder to accomplish this.
This help topic should get you going. If not please post back for additional help.
https://support.1password.com/dropbox-share-vault/?macPro tip:
If you share the folder and call it "shared with husband" once the folder is on his machine. He can rename it on his machine to something more his liking "Shared with my wife" for example.
Name changes are complete invisible to the syncing process. Later if you want to rename your share to something else you can do that as well.
- This only applies to shared folders across different accounts! You cannot rename folders like this if you share a single Dropbox account.
- Please make sure before making name changes all syncing has finished in Dropbox. And then once you change the name allow time for Dropbox to sync the change's again.
- Lastly its best to make name changes to folders prior to setting up the shared vault inside 1Password. Sometimes you can break your sync setup by changing names after it has already been setup.
The above is the reason the same shared folder on my machine is called "Shared with Barbara" and on hers it appears as "Shared with Tom"

Thanks. I set up a Dropbox shared folder with my husband, and it works fine.
