Cannot delete corrupt entry
There is one item in our 1pw database that seems to be corrupt. When you even try to select it you get the spinning pinwheel (both in desktop client and Chrome extension). It "pinwheels" forever until force quit. Therefore you cannot even attempt to delete the entry.
Id there a way to manually remove the entry from our database or otherwise get rid of this?

Hi @bish73,
I'm sorry you're having such an odd problem with one of your Login items!
Did that Login item used to work correctly, then started having this problem recently? Did you originally save that using the 1Password extension in a browser, or did you perhaps import it from a different app? Can you think of anything unique about that item, such as having a very long notes field, or large attachments, or anything like that?
If that item used to work correctly, you can try restoring your vault from a backup to see if you can retrieve a working copy of it. First, you should make a new backup of your current data by going to File > Backup in the main 1Password app. That will open the Backup preferences and show all your backups, including the new one you just made.
Next, you can choose a previous backup and click the Restore button. Once you do that, find the item in question and see if you can view it. If it causes the same problem, go back to 1Password > Preferences > Backup and try restoring from an earlier backup. You can do this as many times as you like. If you find a working copy of that item, go to File > Export > Selected Items and save the .1pif file to the Desktop (or other convenient location). Then you can go back to Preferences > Backup and restore from your latest backup file. After the restore, go to File > Import and choose the .1pif file you created (that should replace the non-working copy of the item).
On the other hand, if you don't have a backup with a working copy of that item, there are a couple other ways you can try to delete it (although I'd hate for you to lose the info it contains). When you have a different item selected in 1Password, try right-clicking on the problematic item and choose Move to Trash. When I try that, it allows me to do that without actually showing the details of the item I try to delete (it keeps showing the other item I selected). Does that work, or does it still get stuck? If it's still a problem, select another item, then try to drag & drop the problematic item into the Trash in 1Password. That also seems to allow me to do that without actually selecting it, although I'm not sure if it will work the same way for you.
Please let us know how it all goes, thanks!

This worked!
When you have a different item selected in 1Password, try right-clicking on the problematic item and choose Move to Trash.
I didn't need the data in the entry so no worries. Thanks for the help!

You're very welcome, @bish73! Thanks for letting us know, I'm happy to hear that worked. Strange that it was causing a problem for you, but it sounds like 1Password should be working correctly for you now. If you need anything else, just let us know - we're always happy to help! :)
