iCloud sync, both sides say they synced recently, but they have different data.

In the Mac app 1Password -> Preferences -> Sync says iCloud, last synced 1 minute ago. There are 10 items in the main view of the 1Password app. In the iOS app Settings -> Sync says sync service is iCloud, last sync 7 seconds ago, Items 5.

Why are they different? How can I get them to sync?

    Hi @fran1111,

Sorry you're having trouble with iCloud sync! Can you confirm that you are logged in to iCloud Drive with the same Apple ID on both devices?

    Hi Vee

    How do I do that?

On iOS go to Settings > iCloud. On the Mac go to System Preferences > iCloud.

Nevermind, rebooted phone and mac and now it has synced. So that's nice. Thanks, have a great day.

    Hi @fran1111,

If you're signed into the same Apple ID in both places that Stephen specified, you can find more troubleshooting tips for iCloud sync here: Troubleshooting iCloud sync issues

If you go through those steps but are still having trouble with iCloud sync, can you please let us know a few more details:

    • What version of iOS is running on your iOS device?
    • What version of 1Password for iOS is installed on your iOS device?
    • Was iCloud sync previously working, or is this the first time you've tried to use it?

    Thanks!

    Hey @fran1111,

Looks like Drew was composing his post when you wrote back to let us know that rebooting did the trick. Thanks for that follow-up, and we're glad your data is syncing properly now! Cheers. :)
