Hi, I have 1password on my phone and just purch'd it for my MAC - does it come with pro features?
I already have it on my phone and iPad with pro features; I just also bought the MAC version from Apple app store - I'm not sure it has the pro features and I really want to be able to create new categories. Can you help/advise? As you see i am committed to using it having purchased it for all my devices and my mac

There aren't any so-called Pro features in the Mac version. It comes with all of its capabilities when you download it.
Regarding the creation of new categories, 1Password does not have that capability in any of its versions. There have been many requests for that ability, and the developers say they are considering adding that. But I suspect (but don't really know) that it isn't trivial to do so.

I see - its just frustrating when I can't have a section for debit card information

I put debit card information in the Credit Card category. If you want a visual prompt that it's a debit card, not a credit card, you could edit the title of the record so it said something like - NameOfBank (Debit Card) - or something similar. Not exactly what you seek, but perhaps helpful for now.

Thank you - as you say good for now - hopefully being able to add your own categories shouldn't be too difficult - I would think just a generic form would do - but hey Im no techie!
