Adding a license for a Surface Pro 3

I currently have 1Password installed on a Macbook and a Macbook Pro. I would like to buy a license to add 1Password to a new Surface Pro 3. I installed the trial version of 1Password on the Surface, and I have decided that I would like to buy it for the Surface. So, I loaded my license number and it prompted me to buy a Windows and Mac license bundle, rather than a single license for the new Windows device. I'm the sole user of 1Password and I synch the vault via Dropbox. I just wanted to make sure that the bundle is the appropriate item for me to buy, to continue using 1Password on the three devices. Thank you.

1Password Version: 5 (Mac) & 4 (Windows)
Extension Version: Not Provided
OS Version: Windows & Mac

You should not have to buy the bundle if you already have a Mac license. Send email to support+licenses@agilebits.com with as much information about your Mac license purchase as you can. The staff will fix you up with a discount on the Windows license so that the total cost of your Mac license and the new Windows license will equal the bundle price.

    Greetings @Fantine1021,

Please do as hawkmoth suggests, purchasing the bundle would mean purchasing an additional licence for 1Password for Mac that you simply do not need. I'm curious by what you mean prompted you to purchase the bundle though. Was it the static ordering of the updates as they were offered on the page that meant it felt like it was coaxing you towards a bundle or something else? I'd like to understand how and why you interpreted that page as that kind of information could be of interest.

I'm glad you visited the forums to ask though as your single 1Password 5 licence covers you for as many Macs as you and five other family members in the same household own - it seems unlikely that you need another as a result. Email us at support+licenses@agilebits.com and we'll get that sorted for you

Thank you both for your assistance. I got the prompt to buy the bundle when I clicked on "Order Now" on the trial version of 1Password that I downloaded on the Surface Pro 3 and entered my license (which was for the original 1Password version 3 that I had bought back in the day). I will send an email regarding my license.

    Hi @Fantine1021,

Could you do me a favour please, could you bring up this prompt again and take a screenshot and attach it to the email for us. I'd like to see what you're seeing if you have no objections

OK, I open the demo version of 1Password and click on Order Now. I get sent to the image in the attachment.

And if I use the "Enter Your License" option, when I enter my old license, I get this:

@Fantine1021: Sorry for the confusion! I see your email, so we can continue the conversation there and close this thread for now. I'll be in touch shortly! :)
