Purchase of 1PW 5; looking for discount/coupon
Been a loyal 1PW user since 2009! I'm upgrading everything (iMac, MacBook Pro) and plan to purchase 1PW 5. Discounts? I'm member of an Apple sanctioned User Group. Does that help? Anything helps.

For a start....you can buy 1P for Mac either from the Mac App Store or direct from the AgileBits store. There are two things to bear in mind:
- If you ever want to use iCloud to sync 1P data between your Mac and iPhone you must buy 1P from the Mac App Store because the version from the AgileBits store doesn't support iCloud sync (following changes made by Apple on the launch of OS X Yosemite, as you doubtless know). Both versions support sync of 1P data by either local wifi or Dropbox.
- If you have owned an earlier version of 1P for Mac you may be entitled to an upgrade discount if you buy from the AgileBits store. That discount won't be available if you buy from the Mac App Store.
Maybe the first step for you is to go to this page and, on the assumption you're using 1P3, enter your licence code to find out what discount is available for you. :) (Of course, if you're already using 1P4 the upgrade to 1P5 is free in any event.)
You'll know, of course, that the Mac App Store doesn't allow AgileBits to discount upgrades in the same way.

Hopefully you found Stephen_C's response informative. I believe the best discount available is to use your existing licence for the upgrade price - I'm pretty sure we've never offered a better price than that. If you do have any follow up questions though please do ask!
