The latest version of 1Password for Windows 4.6.0.585 and ...584 too contains a virus! Called "Riskware/Deleter" by my scanner FortiClient 5.2.3.0633. Item is quarantined, update is therefore not possible! Please check and provide an item without virus.

@Herbert_Weber This is another false positive.

  • @Herbert_Weber Sorry you're having trouble with this.
As @svondutch said, this is a false positive and it needs to be handled by FortiClient.

We're going to contact them about it again but it would be helpful if you could send them an email as well. You can get in touch with them through the Fortinet Support Pages.

    Hi @Herbert_Weber,

We have an update. After checking the files, Fortinet has concluded that this was a false-positive and has issued an update to their detection signatures. It should propagate to your system soon.

The Fortinet support has asked us to relay a request: If you find a false-positive in the future, please mark it as such in the FortiClient or FortiGuard when you the threat notification.

    Cheers!
