in 1Password 3 – 7 for Mac

I am trying to upgrade and am testing the sync before I do. the new test login is not showing in the 1Password app. How can I safely upgrade?

1Password Version: 3.8.22
Extension Version: 3.9.21.90
OS Version: 10.10.4
Sync Type: 1Password app
