1Password can not find iCloud

Everything was working fine until about a week ago when I was unable to sync between my MacBook Pro and iPhone. To fix the issue, I reset my 1Password data on the Cloud but the sync from my MacBook would not connect to ICloud. I then signed out of iCloud and back in on both devices. It appears that the sync on my iPhone is working but on the computer, I receive the error that "iCloud is not available. please enable iCloud to continue." Unfortunately iCloud is, in fact, enabled as is iCloud Drive and the 1Password mini under the iCloud Drive menu. To make things more fun, 1Password is now crashing every time I try to sync. I've even deleted and reinstalled 1Password from the App Store with no luck.

Thanks for your help.

Thanks for the link but I've already run through all of those steps. The problem is that, after all of the steps, it won't connect to iCloud at all. I've tested iCloud with contacts and calendars and these are no issues there. Also, I was able to successfully connect to iCloud sync for 1Password on my iPhone. The problem is just with turning on iCloud sync on my laptop.

On top of that, 1Password on my laptop continually crashes when I try to click on "Enable iCloud."

    Hi @A_Millians,

I'm sorry you're having this problem with iCloud sync! To help us figure out what's going on and how to fix it, I'd like to ask you to create Diagnostics Reports from your Mac and iPhone:

    —Mac—
    https://support.1password.com/diagnostics/mac.html

    —iOS—
    https://support.1password.com/diagnostics/ios.html

Attach the Diagnostics Reports to an email message addressed to support+forum@agilebits.com.

Please do not post your Diagnostics Reports in the forums, but please do include a link to this thread in your email(s), along with your forum username so that we can "connect the dots" when we see your reports in our inbox.

You should receive an automated reply from our BitBot assistant with a Support ID number. Please post that number here so we can track down the reports and make sure you receive a reply as quickly as possible.

Once we see the reports we should be able to better assist you. Thanks in advance! :)

Thank you for the response. The good news is that I kept digging around and discovered that my iCloud Drive was not working on my MBP. It worked on other computers, my mobile devices, and the iCloud website but not on my laptop. I found some terminal commands that shut down the cloudd & bird process and that seems to have brought everything back online.

That's awesome @A_Millians, I'm really happy to hear you were able to figure that out! Thanks for letting us know how it turned out.

It looks like you emailed us a diagnostics report before you solved the problem, and Greig replied to you earlier today. I'll update the email thread to let him know you were able to get iCloud sync working on your MBP.

If you ever need more help or have questions, please let us know! :)
