When I use 1password (5) (for Mac) on my Mac, it says trial expired, but not my iPhone.

My husband bought a family licence for me and him a few years ago. He uses 1PW on his phone and iMac and I use it on my iPhone and MBP.
In the past couple of weeks I think I might have 2 versions running of 1PW, v 3.8.22 and v 5. When I open 1PW from the dock it's fine, when I go to a site and use 1PW it opens but says trial expired. It doesn't say trial expired when I use it on my phone, just on my MacBook Pro.
In Dropbox, it appears it might be 1PW 5, but I'm not sure.

1Password Version: 3 and 5
Extension Version: 3.8.22 and 5
OS Version: 10.10.5
Sync Type: Dropbox

    Hi @Krayola,

I'm sorry for any confusion about your licenses! The article from the link in Stephen's reply should help to clear that up. I also wanted to add that a license for 1Password for Mac is unrelated to the iOS version of 1Password, since they're sold separately.

If your husband bought a license for 1Password 3 for Mac in 2013 or later, 1Password 5 for Mac is a free upgrade (as was 1Password 4). In that case, you'll need to activate 1Password 5 on your Mac by applying a license file. You can have your license info resent to your husband's email from the "I've lost my license" section of this site.

On the other hand, if your husband bought the 1Password 3 for Mac license prior to 2013, 1Password 5 for Mac is a paid upgrade - although you can take advantage of our upgrade discount. You or your husband can visit our Upgrade Store and enter your version 3 license code to see your upgrade discount and license options.

I hope that helps, but if you have more questions, please let us know - we're here for you! :)
