I just want to clarify that if I pay $49.99 that I can install 1Password 5 on 5 different Mac computers in my house (2 MacBook Pro's owned by my children, iMac, etc). And how would I go about doing so? Would I have to just log in or something?

Sorry if this is already explained on the site, I just want to clarify before I pay. Thanks!

Your single user license allows you to install the application on all the machines of the same platform (OS X, in this case) that are used by as many as six family members in the same household, so it looks like you'll be fine with one purchase. License terms are discussed on this web page.

How you accomplish installing registered copies for you family members will depend on where you buy your license. If you buy from the Mac App Store (which is where you must buy if iCloud syncing is important to you), you will need to set up Family Sharing through Apple. If you buy from the AgileBits web store, you will get directions for installing a license file by return email. In that case, you would simply forward that message to your other family members and they would follow the same directions to register their copies.

    Hi @DaBombDiva,

I hope that Hawkmoth's post has been helpful for you! In addition to his advice, I'll also add that our support pages are a great resource when you're setting up 1Password. You can find our User Guides on that page, which will walk you through the set-up process.

This should help you get set up on all your Macs, but if you have any further questions, we're here for you!
