Any progress with making webmail URL clickable *and* fillable by 1password in Email Address pane?

Hi @weblackey,
I'm not sure if I understand your question. Are you trying to fill your username & password on a website for a webmail account? If so, you should be able to save a Login item for that site, and then you can click on its URL in 1Password to open that site and fill your info.
I feel like I probably misunderstood the question though, so can you please elaborate and let us know exactly what you'd like to do or are having trouble doing? The more details, the better. Thanks in advance!

I would like to login to a webmail page straight from an Email Address item. So that we can have all the email account info AND the ability to login to a webmail page for that account, all from the Email item.

Thanks @weblackey, I understand what you mean now.
The three item categories that can be used to fill specific types of forms on websites are Logins, Identities, and Credit Cards. Other categories (such as the Email Accounts category) are meant mostly for other types of information that you wouldn't normally need to fill on a website. Aside from the username and password, the data saved in an Email Account item really doesn't apply to a login form on a website - that category is meant for any type of email account, not necessarily just webmail. An Email Account item is for information you would need to set up an email client on a computer. 1Password can't fill data in other apps the way it can in web browsers, so the ability to fill details from an Email Account item wouldn't be useful there.
On the other hand, if you need to log into an email site through a web browser (like Gmail.com, for example) you would want to create a Login item for that. Login items aren't specifically for webmail, they are for any website where you need to enter a username/password to sign in. Now, if you want to, you can add custom fields to a Login item so you can store other details about an email account. Normally though, if you have a single email account and need to store website login details as well as information you'll need for an email client, we suggest making a Login item and an Email Account item (i.e. separate items for separate purposes, even if they are both for the same email account).
I hope that helps! If you have more questions about that, please let us know. :)

I realize all of what you say in your comment, and thank you. Yes I have email clients set up on my devices, and have to use webmail to access those same email boxes at times, hence having all the info in one place.
So I guess the answer is "No" then?

Hi @weblackey,
I apologize if I explained what you already know!
No, I'm not aware of any plans to make Email Account items fillable on websites, as that really isn't what that category is meant for. I do understand your logic though, and I can see how it would make sense to have 1 item that stored information for 1 email account, including webmail login form details as well as details needed for an email client. Since Email Account items aren't used for web form filling, the closest thing to what you're asking for would be to add custom fields to the Login item for your webmail account so you can store other email account details there as well.
I'm sorry I don't have a better answer for you about that! But hopefully the workaround I suggested will be helpful. We're here for you if you have more questions or need anything else. :)

I hope y'all will consider making the Email Account item fillable in the future. The sooner the better! Thanks for your great work.
