Please PLEASE ditch the "Show XX more items" submenu [under consideration]

Just creating a new topic because other topics about this are all "closed"

First topic I've seen about this is from 2013 and nothing has changed yet.
Please remove this option, it is counter productive, no necessary (my screen is big enough to show all items), ugly, annoying, etc...
