I paid for a license, didn't use right away; Started using and got a prompt to pay for a new license
I bought a license in 2013 and paid 69.99. did not use right away. Recently began using and then got a prompt that I had run out of the trial and had to buy a new license today. Paid 49.99 for another. I don't think I need two. Help.

If you not longer have your license information (assuming you bought it from the AgileBits web store), you can have it resent by entering your email address at the bottom of the Support Page.

There are two steps involved in licensing. First purchase a license, and then apply the license (by clicking a link in the email that would have been sent to you). It seems likely that you omitted the second step. Try hawkmoth's suggestion, and if it does not work wait for a staff member to reply. Certainly you don't need two licenses.

And you should not need to buy another license. If you just bought a second license from the AgileBit web store, they will issue a refund for the second one. I assume you bought a version 3 license in 2013. I believe that 2013 buyers got the normally paid upgrade to version 4 for free, and registered version 4 license holders received a free upgrade to version 5 when it arrived.
If both of your purchases were made under the email address you used to register for the forum, an AgileBits staff member will be along and straighten this out. If you used a different email address for your initial buy, you should then send an email message to support+licenses@agilebits.com. Include a link to this thread, and give as much information as you can about both buys, including the email address you used for each purchase and your name and address as you gave them when you bought. You will receive an automated reply, which includes a support ticket number. It will help if you post that ticket number back in this thread.
Now, if your license was from the Mac App Store, thing will different, but I doubt that's the case, since the Mac App Store wasn't around in 2013. If I have that wrong, post back. Apple will have to deal with your refund request.

Hi @roee47,
Thank you for contacting us. You are quite correct, you don't need a new licence and I've already processed a refund for you and resent you your old licence information. If you follow the steps in the email it will apply the existing 1Password licence you have and that should take care of the trial ended notice.
Basically each copy of 1Password that you download needs to be made aware of your licence. As long as you do that you should be fine but of course if you have any troubles at all please do let us know or you may find our page, How do I add my license to 1Password? helps. Either way we're here if you need us
