Setup on Macbook Air

Working fine on Desktop Mac, iPhone and iPad. but can not get it to run on Macbook Air. I have deleted everything, including the download and ~/Library/Container folders, deleted an reinstalled the app and mini, but when launch the app I go right to the welcome info and it does not ask if I am a new or existing user. I can not sync because he finds no vault. I have spent too many hours on this and am at my wits end. We are moving to London shortly and I need to have my MacBook Air synced with the iPhone and iPad.
I just tried again and get the message that the wrong version of the mini was loaded. I downloaded the only one I can find from Agilbits website.

Please help

I put two things together that I had read and went to the ~/library and found a backup that was hidden in my documents/music folder. Deleted it, and all is now well. I had already deleted everything else I could find, but this did the trick.

Documents/music?!! Wow, wonder how it found its way there...

I'm more confused as to what we were doing looking there. I was under the impression we looked in very specific locations and that certainly shouldn't be one of them. At least it's now working @Marknt but I am puzzled as to what was going on.
