Order of matching items in 1P mini
Because of issues not related to this question, I have multiple accounts with Adobe. When I am on an Adobe site and need to login, I pull up 1P mini and what appears is what shows in the first screenshot (the one that says "show 3 more items"). The second screenshot shows what appears when I click on "show 3 more items." How does 1P decide the order in which these items appear. It obviously is not alphabetical order!
More to the point, how I can set this up so that the item I will almost always choose shows up near the top of the list (so I don't have click "show 3 more")?

Greetings @camner,
So there are a couple of aspects that will influence the ordering and when we hide items. I think this thread, Reordering Password Lists in Browser Menu will help you but should you have any questions that you feel the explanation doesn't answer please do ask.

Thanks for getting back to me quickly. Poking around a bit, I've learned that Adobe has changed the way they handle logins. Wherever one is on their site (their store, a particular forum, etc.), if you need to login, you are taken to a single login page, which means that the URL is never going to match precisely the URL that 1P has stored (at my request) for the purpose of "go and fill" to a particular part of Adobe's site. This then leads 1P to list later in the list the login I want. Grr... I suppose the only reasonable workaround is for me to mark as a favorite the particular Adobe stored login I might use most frequently. Yes?

Hmmm...I guess I didn't read the linked article closely enough. Starring the login I want as a favorite didn't make it take precedence, because the URL still doesn't match the login page URL so it is lower ranked. I think I'll try putting in the login page URL as a second website address in 1P and see if that pushes things up the list.

Greetings @camner,
Can you describe what you're seeing with the Adobe URLs please, I'm not sure this is something I've realised or stumbled upon yet but it sounds like something I really want to know about.

My apologies for the slow reply...I got busy and the email notification rotted in the inbox...
Say I want to go to the Adobe Community Forum for Adobe Premiere Elements. That URL is: https://forums.adobe.com/community/premiere_elements
You'll notice in the upper right hand corner is a "Sign in" link. When one clicks on that link, one is taken to a page with URL https://adobeid-na1.services.adobe.com/renga-idprovider/pages/login?client_redirect=https://ims-na1.adobelogin.com/ims/redirect/forums2?client_redirect=https://forums.adobe.com/adobe_login&client_id=forums2&scope=AdobeID,openid,additional_info.screen_name,update_profile.screen_name&display=web_v2&denied_callback=https://ims-na1.adobelogin.com/ims/denied/forums2?redirect_uri=https://forums.adobe.com/adobe_login&flow_type=token&dc=false&callback=https://ims-na1.adobelogin.com/ims/adobeid/forums2/AdobeID/token?redirect_uri=https://forums.adobe.com/adobe_login?referer=https://forums.adobe.com/community/premiere_elements&locale=en
Now, of course that URL may have stuff that is specific to my request, but the point is that one seems to be redirected to a similar URL no matter from where on the Adobe site one wishes to log in. Say one is on the product page for Premiere Elements (http://www.adobe.com/products/premiere-elements.html) and then one wishes to purchase the product. If I click "Sign in" at the top, I get taken to:
https://adobeid-na1.services.adobe.com/renga-idprovider/pages/login?callback=https://ims-na1.adobelogin.com/ims/adobeid/adobedotcom2/AdobeID/token?redirect_uri=https%3A%2F%2Fwww.adobe.com%2Fproducts%2Fpremiere-elements.html%23from_ims%3Dtrue%26old_hash%3D%26api%3Dauthorize&client_id=adobedotcom2&scope=creative_cloud,AdobeID,openid,gnav,read_organizations,additional_info.projectedProductContext,sao.ACOM_CLOUD_STORAGE,sao.stock,sao.cce_private&display=web_v2&denied_callback=https://ims-na1.adobelogin.com/ims/denied/adobedotcom2?redirect_uri=https%3A%2F%2Fwww.adobe.com%2Fproducts%2Fpremiere-elements.html%23from_ims%3Dtrue%26old_hash%3D%26api%3Dauthorize&response_type=token&relay=1a0cf904-608b-4023-ab95-f09bf1410a2e&locale=en_US&flow_type=token&dc=false&eu=false&client_redirect=https://ims-na1.adobelogin.com/ims/redirect/adobedotcom2?client_redirect=https%3A%2F%2Fwww.adobe.com%2Fproducts%2Fpremiere-elements.html%23from_ims%3Dtrue%26old_hash%3D%26api%3Dauthorize&idp_flow_type=loginSo, it is difficult to have 1P setup correctly for a situation like this, I think (though I may be missing something). If I save a 1P login from the sign in URL (adobeid-na1.services.adobe.com) then I can log in, but I then have to manually navigate to whatever part of their large site I want to try to find. Alternatively, if I set 1P to create a login for a specific forum page for example, when I click on "Sign in" 1P doesn't see the login page URL as "similar enough" to the saved URL for the forum. It doesn't help that I have several Adobe IDs and several desired pages within the site to which I want to have a saved login.
Am I making myself reasonably clear, or have I muddle things hopelessly?

Hello @camner,
I think you do a good job of explaining the issue. One of the parameters in the URL is storing the location to return to afterwards so each URL is different.
I don't think there is an elegant solution, not do I believe there will be much we can do to make it less messy given how the system works.
I don't know how well the following will work but it might help.
- Set the website field to
https://adobeid-na1.services.adobe.com
. This will at least make sure this Login item is always seen as a valid option. It won't help with open and fill though. - If you find there are certain areas of Adobe's site that you frequently visit e.g. the forums then you could add a second website field, altering the label to help indicate the target location. You could use the extra website fields for open and fill.
Now it's a manual process and it might mean a few URLs depending on how parts of their site a) use the centralised authentication service and b) you visit regularly enough that this would feel beneficial.
I believe if you set each of the Adobe Login items to use this same pattern where the first website field is
https://adobeid-na1.services.adobe.com
that they should all revert to the standard behaviour of alphabetical ordering with favourites working as intended. At least I hope this to be the case. If you're willing to try this please do let us know how you get along :smile:0 - Set the website field to

Thanks for the tips....I'll give it a whirl.
