I am trying to sync onepassword with Dropbox on my iphone. When i try and enter dropbox id and password it says invalid

@stockli: Unfortunately that doesn't quite narrow it down, as we have had quite a few apps that run on phones over the years. :lol:
Without some basic information it's hard to say what might be going wrong and how we might right it! Please tell me the OS, 1Password, and device versions you're using, the exact steps you're taking, and what is (or is not) happening the way you expect so we can figure out the best plan of action. The more information you can give, the better!

For instance, it sounds like you may be using a very old version of 1Password, since Dropbox decommissioned their older API that 1Password touch (version 3) was using back in 2013. Please let me know what you find. Thanks in advance! :)

It's an Apple Iphone5s, version 8.4.1, onepassword is the latest version downloaded from the app store, 5. something from memory.
I can enter the master password for onepassword but it gets caught on the dropbox log in page.

@stockli: Thanks for confirming! I suspected as much. Indeed, 1Password 3 is no longer available in the App Store, as it's definitely not the latest version.
As I mentioned in my previous post, Dropbox discontinued the API that 1Password 3 used a couple years ago, so that's why you can't login to your Dropbox account: they just aren't listening. This is what you can do to get current and sync with Dropbox:
- First and foremost, backup your data!
- Next, you can upgrade to 1Password 5 for iOS (a free app, with an in-app purchase for Pro Features) and restore your data into it
- And finally you can set up Dropbox Sync in 1Password 5
