I'm installing 1Password on a new machine. The Dropbox vault is a hidden file, and I can't find it. I can navigate to the local Dropbox folder, and I can see the vault in the browser-based Dropbox directory, but 1Password can't locate it.

@nchristian: I fear that I may be misunderstanding something here, as the solution seems clear from your description: simply unhide the vault! I take it you hid it yourself for some reason, since 1Password doesn't hide vaults for any reason.'

Alternatively, are you certain that the vault is even being sync'd to your computer? Just because it's showing on the website doesn't guarantee that it's made it's way to all of your devices — and it might not, depending on your selective sync settings, or Dropbox being disabled or otherwise inoperable on the machine. Please follow the steps in this guide, as it will help narrow down the problem:

    Dropbox sync is not working

Please let me know what you find. I look forward to hearing back from you! :)
