Update download
When I get a new notice for an update and I click to download, download begins and then stops about ¼ of the way through and I get an SSL error. Can't get it to download at all. Way around this?

Hi @Chukster,
I'm sorry you're having trouble downloading the update! When you try to install the update again, you can try changing the source of the download under the Source menu in the 1Password Updater app. The default source in that menu is CacheFly, but if that doesn't work, you can change it to Amazon CloudFront or AgileBits. Do you have any luck with either of those?
If you still have trouble, you can download the latest updated version from our download site, and replace the older app on your Mac with the new one.
Hopefully that solves the problem, but please let us know if you need more help. Thanks!

Drew, thanks for the quick reply. However, 1Password Updater app? I don't think I have that; I can't find it as part of 1Password; and a quick search online is also negative for a 1Password Updater. I guess I need to know how to lay my hands on the Updater?
Thanks again.

Drew, Never mind; I found it and made the change. Works fine now. I was looking for updater in all the wrong places!
Thanks

Hi @Chukster,
I'm sorry I wasn't clearer about that! But I'm glad you were able to figure that out and install the latest update for 1Password. Thanks for letting us know it all worked out. If you need help with anything else, we're here for you! :)
(For anyone with a similar problem reading this discussion for an answer, the 1Password Updater will automatically launch when 1Password checks for / starts to install an update.)
