Need 1Password file from old PC to New Mac WITHOUT SYNCING

Hi there,

I'm getting rid of my old PC. I have a new Mac. I would like to copy my 1Password file so that I can have it available on my Mac. I do NOT want to synch because there will be no old computer to sync it to.

Thanks!

    Hi @angelaferraro,

To find your 1Password data file on Windows, open 1Password on your PC, unlock it with your master password (if prompted), click Preferences and select the General tab. You'll see the location of your data in the "1Password Vault" field. That .agilekeychain folder is what you'll need to copy to your Mac.

You might also want to copy 1Password backups to your Mac, just as a precaution. From the 1Password Preferences, click the Backup tab to see the location of those backups (assuming you have that option enabled).

On your Mac, when you open 1Password for the first time, you'll be able to sync your data from that .agilekeychain bundle that you copied from Windows. We have more information about that in this user guide article.

Hopefully this helps, but please let us know if you need anything else. Thanks!
