Folder content of desktop app and browser ext. are not identical
OS X 10.10.5 Yosemite
1Password 5.4.BETA-37
Ext. 1Password Beta 4.4.3.b2 (Firefox)
I use 1Password 5.4.BETA-37. I have built up a folder structure, to organize my about 300 logins.
In my browser/s I have the extension (current version/s), because it's really convenient.
Now to my problem: In the Browser Extension are max. 11 logins in one Folder. In 1Password App itself, there are, however (an example) 29 entries. And so it is with all my folders, only a part of the folder's contents will be displayed.
But, the logins are not missing, the total count is identical to the version of 1Password; the logins were moved in the browser extension up to the root /logins. Tested in Firefox 38.0.5, Chrome 44.0.2403.157 (64-bit) and Safari 8.0.8.
Why is the content structure of the desktop app and browser extension not identical?

Hi @kazu,
The most likely cause is some items have had their display setting set to Never display in browser. The following will help identify if this is the case.
- Select All Items in the Sidebar.
- Use the keyboard shortcut
⌃⌥⌘F
to bring up the Search Options. - Change the criteria from Title to Shown in browser.
- Change Is to Is not.
- If there are multiple items, save this search to easily bring it back.
If this search does show a number of items we've likely found the cause. What you will then need to do is edit each one in turn, changing the display setting back to Always.
Does that help at all?

If have searched, but all my entries has the status shown in browser. Unfortunately, that did not help.

Greetings @kazu,
That's a pity. Okay, can we try something else please. Can you try creating a brand new test item and adding it to the folder, does it show up where these other items don't?

I have created in Firefox a new login. I have selected a Folder, and yes, the login is displayed correctly in that folder, – desktop and browser.

Hi @kazu,
It's possible there's a problem with the folders themselves. As a test, can you please try this:
- Go to File > New Folder (you can give the new folder a name, or leave it as the default).
- Choose one of the folders with the problem.
- Select all the items in that folder (right-click on one item and choose Select All) and drag them to the new folder.
- Go to your browser and find the new folder in the 1Password extension.
Does the new folder show all the items? If so, go back to the main 1Password app and try moving those items back to their original folder, then check that original folder again in the browser extension to see if they are all listed correctly.
Please let us know how it goes, thanks!
