I was charged twice for the same license

I upgraded my trail version for $50 but was unable to get my iCloud sync to work. I read that I had to purchase it from the Mac App Store so I did. Now I'm charged twice for just 1 license. How can we resolve this?

    Hi @hitokirikensan,

Sorry for the confusion here! No worries though, I have just issued a refund of $49.99 for the Mac Single License you recently purchased from our AgileBits Store. You should see it in your account within a few business days; please let us know if you don't see anything within 5-7 business days.

You may also want to use this handy guide to migrate your 1Password data from the trial version to the Mac App Store version.

Thanks for becoming a 1Password customer! We're happy to have you. :) Don't hesitate to let us know if there's anything else we can help you with!

Thanks much for the kind words @hitokirikensan! Glad to hear Vee was able to get you squared away.

For anyone else reading and curious: our store is completely separate from the Mac App Store. Owning a license from our store does not grant the ability to download from the Mac App Store.

If you purchased a license from our store within the last 30 days, and now want to switch to the Mac App Store, please email us at support@agilebits.com so we can issue a refund (which you can then apply toward your Mac App Store purchase).

If you purchased more than 30 days ago, then a second purchase would be required to switch.

    Thanks!

    Ben
