I see that there is currently a 30% off sale for new 1Password customers. Given that I have been a user of 1Password (3 & 4) for over three years now, however, I am wondering whether you might offer me the same deal - 30% off my upgrade rate of $24.99.

    If you have a licensed copy of version 4, you don't need to pay anything more for version 5. That's a free upgrade. All you need to do is install the same license file you used to authenticate your copy of version 5 to a newly downloaded copy of version 5.

    Hi @Wietersh,

    I searched our sales records for your email and found only a 1Password 3 for Mac license, purchased in 2012. So if you've been using 1Password 4 without a license, congratulations on finding the bug that let you run it in Trial Mode indefinitely!

    Unfortunately the current sale discount does not stack with other offers or coupons; but you're still getting the better deal, because of course 50% off is greater than 30% off.

    We're also offering 50% off our mobile apps, so now would be a good time to add 1Password to your iOS or Android if you have one!
