I'm thinking we may need some additional information, @WendyE. Is this a password for a web site that you have saved in a 1Password login record? Are you asking about the master password for 1Password that allows you access to your data in 1Password? Something else? If you are trying to access this encrypted password, how are you doing that? And what happens when you do so?

Like hawkmoth, I'm not quite sure what you're asking either, so more information about what you're trying to do would help us help you.
