Having an issue with syncing 1Password on a Mac to a shared Dropbox vault.
We are having an issue syncing a shared vault on Dropbox between two Macs (both running 10.10.5 & 1Password 5.3.2 (532001)). One Mac has no issue with creating and syncing to Dropbox (syncs with iOS just fine). The second Mac received the initial sync from Dropbox, but does not sync after that (even though the 1Password prefs say that it just synced). Need some guidance on how to resolve this.

I just resolved this issue. The second Mac didn't have the Dropbox app installed! Once I installed the app and had the person log in, everything worked as expected (once the initial sync completed).
Please update the 1Password installer so it checks that Dropbox is installed. I'd recommend making sure the app checked that Dropbox is installed each time it is launched.

I'm not sure that hard-coding this into the installer or app is a great idea, because plenty of 1Password users don't sync via Dropbox--they may prefer to use iCloud sync, Wi-Fi sync, folder sync, or not sync at all.

I believe you need to have Dropbox installed on the Mac in order to configure Dropbox sync in the first place. Was the Dropbox app deleted from the computer after it was originally configured to sync?
