Firefox doesn't seem to work with the latest 1Password Extension
I am unable to get Firefox 40.0.3 to recognise that the 1Password extension has been installed even after removing it and reinstalling it multiple times. It's driving me mad to say the least!
I am going to assume there's been a behavioural change in Firefox and the way it works with extensions (given that they're looking at moving to the Chrome Extension base).
There's no console logs as far as I can see.
I've tried using the 1Password Beta and there's no difference
I've tried reinstalling the extension
I've tried restarting

Any help would go a long way!

@MrBenSlater: I doubt this is a Firefox issue, as we'd probably have heard from a lot of other people with the same problem. And they're not changing their extension API just yet. It's more likely that something is simply preventing 1Password from communicating with the extension (which is why 1Password mini isn't convinced that the extension is installed). Do you have security software installed that might be blocking connections there?
Now, one other possibility is that your Firefox profile itself is damaged. This is something that comes up from time to time. You could try creating a new one to see if it works there. But otherwise we'll cross that bridge when we come to it. Please let me know what you find. I look forward to hearing back from you! :)
