Password generator never works
The only way I can use the password generator is if I save it off manually. I've read through all of your instructions, but they never work for me. It randomly saves new logins (e.g., sometimes it works, sometimes it doesn't). Whenever I change my password on a site, the only way to retain the password is to manually copy it to another program and manually copy it. What am I doing wrong?

Hi @zoobert,
I'm sorry you're having trouble when generating passwords! To make sure I understand, do you mean that you try to change your password on a website using the Password Generator in 1Password mini, but after you click the 'Fill' button and submit the change password form, 1Password doesn't prompt you to update your Login item with the new password?
If so, this might be part of a known issue our developers have been investigating. In that case, the next time you change your password on a site, don't use the 'Fill' button - instead, highlight the new password in the password generator, then copy & paste it into the new/confirm new password fields on the site. When you submit that, does 1Password ask you to update your Login item for that site?

Yes, you are correct. When I use the 'fill' button in 1Password mini it does not prompt me to save the update to the login.
I will try the approach you've given me. I hope this is resolved soon. :)
I would swear that is hit or miss with new passwords as well when I use the 'Fill' button.

Thanks @zoobert, please let us know how it goes when you try copying/pasting the new password instead of using the 'Fill' button. If it works correctly when you copy/paste, this definitely sounds like the known issue I mentioned, and our developers are trying to solve that as soon as they can. I'm sorry for the inconvenience!

I posted a question about this, too. Apologies for the redundancy.
The problem I've run into is that on the two sites that failed for me, the would not let me paste into the second password confirmation field. I was stuck having to use the Fill command, and I didn't know enough to have copied to the clipboard, which is what I thought 1P was doing for me.0 -
Hi @tempeCarlson,
To keep things from getting too tangled up with back-and-forth, let's continue this conversation in the other thread you started. Thanks!
