Can you help? I want to upgrade my license (s) to accommodate 5 family members on mix Mac & PC
I have 3 mac & 2 pc's plus an ios for 5 family members. Not sure how many my current license accommodates, possibly 3? may be using version 4 but though I upgraded to 5. Can we have a voice call to go over what I have/need?

I think I may be able to help here in the forums if you're okay with that :smile:
Our licences are per platform, which does mean you'd want a Mac and Windows licence to cover all of the laptops/desktops but our licence does cover not just yourself but five other family members in the same household and that's for as many computers of that platform as you have between you. So a single Mac & Windows bundle from our AgileBits Store would cover the 3 Macs and 2 Windows machines that you mention.
As I said earlier, our licences are per platform and you'll notice I haven't mentioned iOS yet. 1Password 5 for iOS uses the freemium model, that's where you can download the basic version for free and if you like it enough there are some additional features we've labelled Pro that are behind a one-off in-app purchase. Now this in-app purchase is once per Apple ID. Due to how Apple's system works there isn't a way to share an in-app purchase between multiple Apple IDs so sadly that can end up being per person. Thankfully that's a much smaller purchase and is optional.
As far as versions go, you would be purchasing a 1Password 5 licence but that will allow you to run anything from 1Password 3 and newer. Obviously we recommend running the newest version you can because of all the improvements and bug fixes we've added but if you have a machine that you won't put Yosemite (OS X 10.10) on then you can run 1Password 4 for Mac. The various versions are all available on our AgileBits Download page.
Now both 1Password for Mac and Windows both have a 30 day trial where you can see if it's for you but just to let you know we do have a sale on at the moment and I don't know how long it's on for. If you've tried 1Password and feel confident it's a good fit you might want to get the better deal. As I say, a single licence for both platforms will cover all of the needs you detailed above.

That's correct, although I guess it wouldn't really be an "upgrade" exactly - you just need to buy a license for the Windows version of 1Password, and you can use your "upgrade discount" to do that. Just visit this site and enter your license code to see your discount and license options (you already have a license for 1Password 5 for Mac so you don't need to buy the Mac/Windows bundle license - you only need to buy the Windows license).
