Running 10.9.5; have 4.2.2. Cannnot complete install of 1Password 4.3.3; stalls on "used 1Password
Once I click on "I have used 1Password before", I am taken to a "where is your data" page. I only use 1Password on my iMac, so I click on the "This Mac" option, and it stalls there...it is looking for an .agilekeychain or an .opvault file, but cannot locate it...help...!

@JFS: Perhaps I am misunderstanding, but are you really trying to use multiple copies of 1Password on your Mac?
Now, 4.4.3 is the most recent version of 1Password 4 for Mac, and you can download a fresh copy of it from the AgileBits website if you purchased it from the AgieBits Store, or from the Mac App Store if you purchased it there...but if you're running OS X Mavericks, Yosemite (and soon El Capitan) is a free upgrade; and similarly, 1Password 5 for Mac is also a free upgrade for 1Password 4 for Mac customers, so once you're able to locate your 1Password vault on your Mac that may be a good option for you.
So in that vein, did you delete something from your Mac? 1Password will, with very few exceptions, automatically find and open your existing vault if it is present...so the fact that it doesn't seem to be doing so indicates to me that it may simply be missing. Additionally, often 'cleaner' apps will also delete any data created by a given app along with it, which would include your 1Password vault. Does that sound like something you may have done inadvertently? If so, you will need to dig it out of the Trash, restore from a backup, or sync your 1Password data from another device. Please let me know what you find. I look forward to hearing back from you! :)

Thank you for the prompt response...Sorry I was not clear.
I am running OS X 10.9.5.
I have been running 1Password 4.2.2 for many months; really like it. Today, I noted that you folks had 4.3.3 update (1Password 4) available, and so I downloaded it from the AgileBits website. Unzipped the file, dragged the file to my Applications folder, and opened it. When I opened it, I was taken to a screen asking if I was a new 1Password user, or if I had used 1Password before. I clicked the "used 1Password before" button, and was then taken to another window asking for the location of my data (presume it is looking for the vault file)...there were several options, to include iCloud and "this Mac." I clicked on the Mac option (which is where it would have to be), and that is as far as I could get.
I deleted nothing from my Mac.
However, if it matters, I did purchase the 4.2.2 version from the Mac Store...but downloaded 4.3.3 from the AgileBits website. Do I need to download 41Password 4 for Mac from the same source?

@JFS: Any time! Sorry if I misunderstood anything! ;)

I'm hoping that it's just a typo, because there is no 4.3.3. 4.4.3 was released 2014/10/06 (AgileBits Store) and 4.4.2 (Mac App Store) are the newest releases of 1Password 4 for Mac (difference due to a minor bugfix). The best thing to do would be to download it from the Mac App Store since that's where you purchased it originally, and then if and when you update OS X, you'll be offered an update to 1Password 5 as well. Simple! :chuffed:
Go ahead and drag and "1Password" apps to the Trash from your Applications folder, and then go to > App Store > Purchased and download 1Password from there. And if 1Password still isn't finding your vault, use the 1Password Troubleshooting tool to generate a diagnostic report and send it to support+forums at agilebits dot com so we can look at the logs to determine exactly what is happening. Just be sure to include a link to this forum thread and your username in the email so we can 'connect the dots'. We will get to the bottom of this! :)

I really need to check my references before I respond from what is left of my memory...couldn't be age (I am 72)...and then again ... maybe it is! I should have referred to 4.4.2, not 4.2.2 and to 4.4.3, not 4.3.3.
Anyway, yes, I am currently running 4.4.2, which I downloaded from the Mac App Store, and it is working perfectly...so since that is the latest version of 1Password for my current OS, I think we are done here, at least until I update OS X.
Just guessing here, but it looks like what may have happened is when I downloaded 4.4.3 from your AgileBits website, thinking I was getting something newer than what I already had, things went amiss somewhat on my Mac when 4.4.3 went looking for the vault file that 4.4.2 was already using.
In any event, all is good.
Thanks again...regret taking so much of your time over this.
Much appreciated.
