alert on expiration date
Hello,
Recently my driver’s license expired and I needed a new one. Also a credit card is also expiring. Both items I keep in 1Password. 1Password alerting me about events such as approaching expirations would be very useful to me. If 1Password had an alert feature based on expiry date or something similar would be very nice.

@macontino: Thanks for the feedback! I'm not sure that most of us want 1Password sending alerts (I have enough apps that like to do this...) but it's certainly something we can consider for a future version. Cheers! :)

I agree I am bombarded too much information. Unsolicited notifications are especially annoying.
A useful notifications feature in 1Password would be configurable so only if a notification were desired would the notification be sent. Much like when you make a calendar entry, you have the choice to get a reminder or not get a reminder.
Subscriptions/Professional dues provide a good example. I keep all my subscription information in 1Password which is the last word for anything with a time limit. Whenever I need a subscription’s status, I check in 1Password. It would save me time to be able to add a notification to a 1Password when a meaningful date is approaching. Then I would be able to ignore any subscription reminder except the one from 1Password.

Thanks so much for your additional feedback about that! I agree that if we added something like that to 1Password, we should be able to enable or disable those notifications. I can't make any promises as to whether we'll add that feature, but I've added your comments to our internal tracker for this. I think that would be useful for a lot of people!
