I did the regular receipt to import data from splash-id and when I import in 1P, nothing happens. I also tried with convert_to_1P4 and all the data has been converted in the notes fields... I expected to have all fields at the right place...

Please help me!

    Hi @sensyb,

First, there is a bug in the Mac version of 1Password that causes the Import dialog's Cancel and OK buttons to not work - use the Escape and Enter keys, respectively, or update to a Beta version of 1Password by enabling beta releases in Preferences > Updates.

Regarding the converter, can you tell more about your SplashID setup? I see you are on a Mac - did the data come from a Mac SplashID also? Which version of SplashID?

The converter knows about the following SplashID categories (import types):

addressses bankacct clothes combinations creditcard email files frequentflyer
identification insurance membership note phonenumbers prescriptions serialnum server
        vehicles weblogins

and can export to the following 1Password categories (export types):

bankacct creditcard email login membership note server

    Hi,

Splashid is Splashid Safe for MAC V8.0.2.846.

About Type, because I am a French Canadian, I translated all types in Splash-id to french ;-(. I understand, it can be a problem to export/import.

Maybe, it is a good idea to retranslate to the original type...

I'll try it and I give you feedback.

    Hi @sensyb,

Ah, it is the translated types that caused the problem. Although there is a string translation table mechanism in the code, I don't have translations available. So you should translate your types back to the stock English names. The expected type names are as follows (case matters):

    Addresses
    Bank Accounts
    Clothes Size
    Combinations
    Credit Cards
    Email Accounts
    Files
    Frequent Flyer
    Identification
    Insurance
    Memberships
    Phone Numbers
    Prescriptions
    Serial Numbers
    Servers
    Vehicles
    Web Logins

    Ok,

I changed the type name in Splash-id from french to english but the result is not concluding. In fact, I translated some fields also in french, so, the conversion is only effective to website field! Anyway, I decided to do the migration manually. It will be more effective considering the types in 1password and I will do a clean-up in same time. The result will be better.

    Thanks for your support!

    Hi @sensyb,

Migrating your data manually will take some extra work, but I agree that it will be better in the long run as it will help ensure your vault is organized, and you'll become more familiar with 1Password while doing that. I did the same thing when I first started using 1Password years ago, and I'm glad I did! :)

Of course, if you'd like to continue trying to correctly import your data with the converter, I'm sure @MrC will be happy to help you with that. Either way, I hope you enjoy 1Password!
